All the girls (minus Rachel, we miss her dearly). We clean up real nice. I like it when Emily let's me pretend Ellie is my own. In my fantasy land if Ellie had a God Mother, I believe Emily would choose me.
THREE POINT TWO!
It's almost September and I haven't forgotten one of my new year's resolutions: Run a race. Yes, I have now run two 5k's and loved both of them. I realize 3.2 miles is not marathon, or even that far, but nonetheless, I am totally proud of myself and it was a lot of fun.

Heidi, Holly, Rachelle (who peed her pants...sooo funny! Check her blog for the full story) and Aron, who helped me keep my pace, after the 5k at Draper Days.
Midnight Moon run in Sandy. I was so cold and didn't have anything to wear but Chris' Real Salt Lake scarf. I tied it around my neck and ran with it on the whole time. I thought it would be super annoying, but I actually really enjoyed it and bonded with the RSL scarf, and handed the sweaty thing proudly back to Chris...thank you Chris.
Adrienne, who kicked our butts in the run, Chris, and me posing after our midnight success. Running in the moonlight is quite delightful! And yes, I have become a spandex runner...once you start it's hard to go back, I'm convinced it makes you run faster...and jump higher.

Ok, I have more than one word. Here we go:
I saw the last picture and thought, "Is she wearing spandex? Yes, of course she is. She would." And thanks for putting the really weird picture of me up. You can get away with it because it's your blog and because I love you. And I noticed you are the tannest one in all your pictures - I hope you enjoy being a stay at home person. Most adults can't get tans like that - way to go. Livin' the dream...

Miss Holly, I love you and wish I had not lost touch with you for so long! Have you really traveled to all those sweet places you lucky girl? WOW... and I must make a confession that I'm sure you've heard a lot already... I was SO OBSESSED with the Bachelorette too! I was so sad when it was over! I'm so glad to be able to keep up with what's going on with you. And thanks for all the other links! :)

You look so fetching with a baby in your arms Holls. Especially with that darling little girl in the pink hat. You were seriously so good to Ellie. Where did you get them and what kind are they...they don't look like the spandex from back in the day. Look at you..quite the runner!
