April Fool's Day was a success for me. I played about 5.5 successful pranks! My friend made a post saying she didn't have "jokey street cred." I thought I'd post about how I do think I have "jokey street cred."
#1: Emailed our Secretary telling her a Mr. Lyon called about an invoice that needed to be resolved. I left her the number to the Hogle Zoo...funny. They have an especially funny greeting on April Fool's Day.
#2: Met up with Adrienne for lunch, successfully stole her keys out of her purse, slipped out to the parking lot and moved her car. It was hilarious when she walked aimlessly around the lot looking for her car that seemed to disappear.
#3: My coworker sent me a "personal" email about how stressed out he was with work, school (currently getting his MBA), family and his church calling (Bishopric member) and then he told me he had just been called as the Bishop...YIKES. His email descriptively explained how he wasn't sure how to do it all and he plead for my advice and asked me not to forward the email to anyone. Well, I forwarded it to my Manager and our Boss (said co-worker was in on it, btw), telling them I didn't know what to tell him. They both fell for it hook, line and sinker. Although, when my boss entered my office to talk to me about the email, I had a panic attack and began screaming, "It's not real! It's a joke! April Fools! He's not really the Bishop!"
I couldn't handle the heat.
#4: The above counts as two, cause I fooled two people.
#5: I told Whitney I got engaged and she BOUGHT it. I was a little disappointed seeing as she is my prank cohort in many jokes I play throughout the year. Come on Whitney...it was April Fools...can't believe you bought it.
#5.5: This one only gets a half point because the subject of the prank figured it out and tried to turn the joke back on me by making me believe they fell for it. Let's just say we were going to trick them into taking a "survey" to qualify as a subject in a brain study and receive $250 for their cooperation. The survey was going to be made up of the most asinine questions you've ever heard of. The subject never took the fake "survey" but tried to get me to believe they did, and that their brain scan is set for Wednesday...ha! I know better.
Working full-time cramps my style, so I like to make life better by doing silly things like the above.
A special thanks to all those who fell for my silly tricks.

You're impressive! Thanks for the link, and wow, I am impressed.
You're a pro at this bloggy thing... I had it in my mind for some reason you'd stopped updating! I'm happy to see new posts!
In my defense you are not getting any younger. I will be the first one to jump on the "I'm Enagaged" bandwagon, because let's face it, you are not as pretty as you were in the 4th grade. Is it wrong that I only want your happiness?
I like them all! I am lame because I didn't do anything! Love reading your blog Holly. I miss you and adore you :)
hehehehe. You are funny. :)
In my defense, you get mad at me, and claim I am way too private, and jumpy anytime you go near my phone or purse. So naturally that day when I saw you pawing through my purse, (stealing my keys I found out later.) I couldn't say anything, and decided to not pull it away and be so 'jumpy' or 'private.' Just goes to show privacy is not such a bad thing. :)
I can admit it, you got me good. Nicely done you little jokester.
You are mighty tricky!
It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt Hols... Can you imagine how bad you'd feel if your friend Adrienne got hit by another car looking for her car that YOU moved? JK.... I'm impressed! You've always had the jokester in you I think.
Apparently I've been a horrible blog stalker lately- turns out you have been updating this thing! I must say I'm very impressed with your jokiness! Good work! It has been good seeing ya lately- we shouldn't let it go so long next time!
